Civil War Confederate Document Chatham Artillery University Of Georgia Athens

Description

An original Civil War Confederate related document or letter that belonged to George C. Freeman.  I looked up George C. Freeman online and it said he was a soldier in the Chatham Artillery during the war. This document is from the University of Georgia. It mentions D. Freeman. I think this is his son Davis. It is dated 1882, after the war when he was a civilian.  I currently have other items listed that belonged to this individual.
The document has wear and stain marks and tears.
