While this non-gun was originally designed to fire blanks and cycle like the real thing the special blank cartridges no longer seem to be available.  The magazine will hold 45 ACP rounds but the action will not feed nor chamber any standard .45 round, so this is truly a dummy gun, but as shown in the pics it fields strips like the real thing, and all the moving parts move just like a real Colt, so this is an excellent training aid.
Weighs 2 lb, 4 oz unloaded.
Let me stress:  This will not chamber nor fire any sort of live round.  It is made of die cast zinc alloy, and the barrel , of the same material, is solid throughout, no bore.  Also, the grip is a little bit short and will not mount US GI Colt grip scales, nor will it accept an OE Colt magazine.
