Description
William is a replica of a XIII Dynasty statuette, about 1725 B.C., and has been in the Metropolitan Museum since 1917. He is about 7.5 inches long and 5 inches tall and is blue-green faience with marsh plants outlined in black. MMA is painted in black on the bottom. I don't see any chips. I have the original biography that came with him. The last pictures show William and his British Museum counterpart, which I am also selling.
