Hand-carved soapstone Hippo dish with elephant design.
This little hippo is hand-carved soapstone (also known as Kisii stone which is hand-quarried and carved in the Kisii region of Kenya). The decoration is
eco-friendly non-toxic paint.
The hippo is very slightly lopsided but that just adds to the character.
