Place enough cleaner in a container to completely submerse the item.  Soak for 3 hours and then turn item over and soak for an additional 3 hours.  Remove it from the cleaning solution and run fresh water over it. Then soak for 30 minute intervals and rinse with fresh water, until the item is cleaned to your satisfaction.  This cleaner works great in conjunction with Le Crayon a Andre cleaning pencils.  The pencils can be used on the object being cleaned while it is still wet.It is not necessarily the best product to use on ALL coins and artifacts, as each item is unique and different.  It will not bring back details if the details are already gone.  But, it is an invaluable weapon to have in your coin and artifact cleaning arsenal as it is superior to many cleaning methods, depending on the condition of the item being cleaned.  Andre's Restorator cleaner is an immersion cleaner. You must immerse the item being cleaned and soak it over time until the desired results are achieved. The cleaner can be used over and over, do not discard it after a single use.Le Crayon a Andre's Restorator Cleaner is available in 4 oz containers.
