    Description
    Here we have a wonderful antique Christofle silverplate oval individual PLATTER made for the N A S M (Holland America) lines.  It measures approx. 11-3/4" long x 8-1/4" wide x 7/8" side high. It is in good to very good maintained (used) shape, commensurate with its age, showing some usual and expected scuff/scratch marks here and there from throughout the years that occurs with a ships service...all of which are not offensive.  It has not been cleaned since acquired and is being offered in "as found" condition. The top border edge is marked with the initials "N A S M" (Nederlandsche-Amerikaanse Stoomvaart Maatschappij) and the bottom is marked, "VAN ZWANENBURG N.V. ~ ROTTERDAM ~ 90 3 0 ~ CHRISTOFLE ~ OC." Came from a private home collection of many years, however the exact age is unknown, circa 1896.  This item weighs approx. 1-1/4 lbs., add 2 lbs. or so for the packing box and packing material.  I combine shipping when safe and practical for all items purchased.
