    Description

    For sale is this AMAZING Schumacher/Waverly wallpaper sample.  Schumacher has been one of the world's best wallpaper and fabric makers since the 1890s, and new wallpapers can sell for over ,000 a roll!
    This came from the estate of one of the owners of the Angel's Attic Dollhouse Museum in Santa Monica, and I believe that samples from this album were used to wallpaper and decorate some of their exquisite dollhouses.
    This is from a large scale wallpaper sample book from the 1930s.  In it Schumacher reproduced using authentic colors and paints the original 18th Century designs copied from textiles and antique wallpaper fragments.  This piece and others I have in the same style but different colors would be wonderful in early dollhouses in need of refurbishment.  This also includes some fabric sample.
    The book was exposed to the elements, and there is some water damage as shown, mostly on the back which does not effect the usability of this item. This can also be framed or used to reproduce this lovely design.  It measures 14" x 19" and the fabric sample is 7.25" x 4".
