Sound upgrade kit for your Spirit Halloween Ghostbusters Deluxe Proton Pack

This kit does not do much on its own and does require additional parts (not included) to be useful.
To activate sounds, additional switches (not included) that usually go in the wand would need to be added and connected to this board.  The recommended way to do this is with the Spirit Wand Lights kit.  That kit (not included) provides all of the control and cabling needed to make this sound board perform multiple sound effects.
This Spirit Blaster sound kit requires a new battery pack (not included) since the Spirit Pack's 3xAA battery pack cannot provide enough voltage to drive the sound board.
A 12V rechargeable battery pack with 4000mAH or more capacity is recommended.  The single 12V battery can be used to power all of the GhostLab42 electronics kit at once - there is no need for multiple battery packs.
I use a 3D printed set of battery holders to mount a 12V rechargeable battery in the pack (not included).  I placed the 3D files on thingiverse so anyone can use the files for free:

There is no set location for the volume control.  The most likely place is on the backpack motherboard (cardboard backing).  Some industrious builder may find a way to replace the crank knob and mount the volume control there, but that is beyound the scope of these installation instructions.
