I use this for freezing because that needs a truly airtight seal and ordinary plastic wraps just don't stick well enough for that. I have silicone tops for fridge containers that work really well and I've had vacuum sealers in the past which I found disappointing in the amount of waste plastic they generate. This uses far less plastic and...it's washable! I can wipe it down with my dish cloth and stick it to the backsplash to dry. Works great for two or three uses. I only toss it if it's been in contact with meat or fat. I love the cutter. It means I don't have to try to juggle plastic film as I tear it off a roll.I covered the box with woodgrain contact paper so it can live on my counter since the box is really ugly and I bought the big size because the per unit cost was so much better than the smaller sizes. I'll probably have to include it in my will - there's a LOT of film.

Price per square feet is cheaper than what you can find in grocery stores (probably saving from buying in bulk). Quality is good. It adheres well. It stretches well and can tolerate steaming. I haven't tried it in microwave. I just like how sturdy this giant block of plastic wrap is versus the smaller, flimsy ones.

Arrived broken and unusable. Wonderful product, but shipped with only a layer of clear plastic, so box was bent and broken. Was told that it is not "returnable" - can only reorder!

Food wrapper with low unit price

Super large box, with reasonable price. I used to buy the 2*750 ft version, and I found that this 3000 ft version has a lower unit price. The wrapper is self-sticky and can be easily applied to dishes and fruit. I would recommend it to you.

I was always getting the smaller ones twisted and frequently ran out. No more! This is so easy to pull out and the cutter gets it done. It’s all about the stretch!

This was NOT the original manufacturer the last time I ordered 3,000 size of 'saran wrap'. AND it was NOT easy to install the cutting edge. Somehow there was one corner that was loose and refused to stay put. WE HAD TO FINALLY tape it down to keep it functional. I preferred the old brand, which of course I no longer can remember the name.....but this brand is INFERIOR. Thanks again however for asking. Gladys Caterinicchio

I also use it even when the containers come with their own covers to prevent them from fusing together in storage (generally with glass bottles and metal covers), and to avoid food stuff dried in the groove of the covers (usually with plastic food storage units) - sometime it is difficult to wash off the dried food stuff in the groove of the covers.

We love this product and have used it for years. After visiting Costco today and not finding it there we had to buy it on Amazon. Only problem ...IT'S DOUBLE THE COST ON AMAZON VS COSTCO. We needed it and paid double ... don't do that if you can buy at Costco.

ONLY PROBLEM IS KNCE THE CUTTING EDGE IS BROKEN THE PLASTIC WRAP IS DIFICULT TO TEAR OFF. BUT KIRKLAND HAS NIF ATTEMPTED TO FIX THIS BOX LID CUTTING ISSUE FOR YEARS.

I just love it. I use for everything, from saving leftover food in a plate, to wrapping fresh vegetables (they last longer in the refrigerator). It's great and it lasts long. The cutting system works wonderfully and makes it easier to use.

Simply put, this commercial grade - plastic wrap is perfect for wrapping plates of food or single items to be refrigerated. Just as quick as a plastic bag but with a much more air tight seal. This is thicker then your average wrap with a lot of stretch and it sticks just about anything - even avacados. You know how the meat department at your local grocery store always has a great seal around their packaged fresh meat products - that's how this works. I used purchase this Kirkland product at COSTCO but for some reason, like so many great products, it has dissapered from their shelves, never to return. I was very pleased to find it being sold online and at the same price and well worth it. It lasts me around 6 months at least and I cook and use it all the time.

I like this product a lot. Its easy and it last for me. Unfortunately I received my package with a broken part but I had my old one so I was able to use that one. But that was a bummer. The sliding cutter was at the very bottom and when I removed the huge roll I found it there. It was broken and in small pieces. Oh well.

I almost ordered a smaller roll of Stretch Tite. Then I figured if was as good as the reviews I'd like to have, perhaps a year supply. Boy, I wasn't disappointed. It really is the best. My son volunteers to wrap the meat to be frozen! So glad we bought 3000 yards (2.74 km). When this HUGE roll runs out we WILL be buying it again!

Yeah, it may look ugly having this big box always on your counter, but I'm more of a function over fashion kind of person and I get a lot of use out of this. The last brand I used didn't seem to have as much cling as this one and the blue slide cutter has become a must have for me because of it's ease of use. My last one didn't have this feature.

Stretch-tite has been my favorite plastic wrap for over a decade. And this dispenser package ijust makes it better! I've gone through a dispenser and a half in over 3 years, and th cutter never wore out. And the Stretch-tite didn't degrade in any way that I could think of. This is a HUGE deal for a great product!

I bought many of this for my family and friends oversea. I bring them as presents for them everytime when I go visit them. It's really good product and will last for a long time. I never used plastic wrap until I found Stretch-tite because none would stick to anything besides itself. Stretch-tite does as it is named and then will allow you to burp it concave to get more of that nasty air out. Our grocery quit carrying it a few years back and I thought my husband was crazy when he came home with a 3000 ft roll from our warehouse store. However, I was desperate so I used an old chip n cracker brisker box with a flop down door on front to put it in and got used to bringing food to it rather than it to the food. Now, here I am ordering a second - crazy like a fox. It has lasted us so long that I cannot remember how long the first one lasted. We are a family of 5 that does not eat out much and used it everyday for a long time to wrap sandwiches* and fruit for school lunches. *A while back we were out of sandwich zip locks and figured out a sandwich with all the fixings kept much better when it was wrapped tight rather than flopping around in a bag.
