The N.S. Meyer Company of New York City was one of America's foremost insignia makers until it folded over 20 years ago. In addition to the U.S. government, N.S. Meyer contracted with many foreign governments within the Western Hemisphere for their insignia needs. These items are NEW old stock cleared from the factory when it was liquidated. All are over 60 years old, still on their maker cards, and are UNUSED. They are as bright and pretty as the day they were made! These were difficult to photograph as they are still very shiny with their heavy nickel plating.
These were worn on shirt collars. One of the Puerto Rican seal devices was worn on one side and a PPR device was worn on the other side. The seal devices shown here were actually made and marked by the BEST insignia company. I put them on Meyer cards to facilitate image taking and shipping. The PPR devices were made by N.S. Meyer but are not marked. YOU WILL RECEIVE A SET (PAIR) OF EACH OF THESE.
