got to see a the premiere episode of the new television series with the same name coming out in 2019. The 2018 New York Comic Con Panel was held in the Hammerstein Ballroom.
If you're wondering why smart touch screen gloves were given out as swag for this new series here's the reason: In the premiere episode, three vampires who live on Staten Island need to sign for a package delivery. The deliveryman has an iPad to sign off with but since all of the vampires are "dead", their fingers don't work on the iPad. Luckily, one of the vampire's familiars (human slave to a vampire) was able to sign for the delivery.
